July 1, 1868 marked the first celebration of Dominion Day. Communities across Canada celebrate the formation of the Dominion of Canada – when we became a self-governing dominion of Great Britain, uniting the four provinces of Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Since that time, Canada has grown to ten provinces and three territories. Canada Day is a celebration of our Confederation, and what it means to be Canadian.
As I’ve connected with more writer and reader groups, I’ve discovered more Christian Fiction authors who are Canadian!
So, in celebration of all things Canadian, I’m updating last year’s extensive list of Canadian Christian Fiction authors, and am adding books that take place in Canada (not necessarily by Canadians).
Beside Canadian author names, I’ve listed the settings for some (not all) of their books. I’ve tried to include links where possible to make it easier to find these fabulous authors and their books.
Which Canadian authors have you read? Are there any books or authors I’m missing?
Happy Canada Day! (and happy reading)
